The following information will help you decide which course you need. We only take 6 students in each class to ensure optimal learning.
For your information, the course listings below are color coded to delineate between the different courses. They do not correspond with the CPR calendar.

HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS - $85.00 - For medical professionals or medical students who do not have a Current Healthcare Provider card. Individuals who work in a Healthcare setting. MDs, DDSs, RNs, EMTs, CNAs, etc. 3 - 4.5 hours

HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS - RETRAIN ONLY - $75.00 -For medical professionals or medical students who have a CURRENT American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card that has NOT expired. 2+ hours

HEARTSAVER CPR - $70-75.00 - For lay rescuers who have a duty to perform but do not work in a healthcare setting. Teachers, Parents, security staff, personal trainers, daycare providers, etc. 2 - 3.5 hours |

HEARTSAVER FIRST AID - $75.00 - 100.00 - For individuals who have a duty to perform or individuals who desire the knowledge. Course is given as an adjunct to the Heartsaver CPR course but only if 2 or more people desire to take it on that day. 2-4 hours

GROUP CLASSES - If you are a company or organization who has approximately 3-6 employees that need training, we are happy to accommodate you in our Herndon office on a day and time that works for both of us. Please call for more information.

SKILLS CHECK-OFF - $65.00 - Skills Check-off for Healthcare Providers AND Heartsavers is not a scheduled program. Once the participant has completed the on-line portion of the course and prints out the course completion certificate, they can call Lawson TEC and schedule a one-on-one Skills only check off time. HOWEVER, it is NOT a teaching session. The participant must feel confident in their ability to perform all the skills required without prompting. If the participant is unable to perform the skills in accordance with the American Heart Association guidelines, the cost of the Skills check off will be applied to a traditional CPR course. 30 minutes

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:
Lawson TEC follows Fairfax County Schools’ inclement weather policy. If the schools are closed, the CPR class will be canceled and rescheduled. If schools are open 1-2 hours late, the class will still start at 10:00 am. For Saturday classes, if there is a questions about the weather, participants will need to call 703-796-9222 and listen for a message regarding cancellations. Messages will be recorded by 7:30 am on Saturday. If there is no message, then be prepared to attend the class. Remember to cancel if you are not going to come.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If necessary, please cancel your spot at least 24 hours prior to the class. We understand that occasionally, extenuating circumstances prevent us from attending a class. However, as long as you cancel BEFORE the class starts, you won't be charged.
We allow one cancellation per student without penalty, as long as the class is canceled before the class starts. A second cancellation will result in a penalty fee of $25.00.
